Hot Stone Massage
** This service not currently available. **
The practitioner uses heated basalt stones both placed at specific points on the body and as a massage tool to provide deep relaxation and muscle release. Hot Stone Therapy reaches deeper tissues, can increase circulation in the body, and often leaves the client feeling relaxed and grounded for several days following the session. Feel your muscle tension melt away!

Making the Most of Your Massage
There are several things you can do to maximize your massage experience:
Drink lots of water before and after your massage. Being well hydrated will make your muscles more receptive to massage. Massage also clears several toxins from the system and drinking lots of water will help flush them out of your system. |
Avoid drinking alcohol prior to your massage. Alcohol can dehydrate you, and if there is a significant amount of it in your system it may be released into your tissues, sometimes causing muscle soreness and headaches. |
Schedule your massage at the end of your day, or during a break in activity. This way you can continue to relax after your session. I also offer house calls for repeat clients, so you can relax at home at the end of your appointment. |
Inform your therapist of any preferences regarding pressure, music, temperature, lighting etc. It's your massage – I want to do whatever will best help you to relax and enjoy! |
